One Pot Pasta

1 box whole wheat pasta (any shape/type)

1 can strained chick peas

1 cup nutritional yeast

1 tablespoon flour (spelt, wholewheat, unbleached white.... your call)

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

pepper to taste (3 solid grinds of fresh does the trick)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

3 shakes chili flakes (1/8 teaspoon)

1 heaping teaspoon parsley flakes 

1 tablespoon of wild

1 teaspoon braggs

2/3 cup almond milk

1 tablespoon oil (olive or grapeseed)

 

Boil pasta, strain and keep in pot. Add all the above ingredients into the pot and stir. If you are camping, its helpful to prepare the dry ingredients in a ziplock at home ahead of time. Top with extra chili flakes for good heat and serve with beer (or water for the kiddos).
